Lavender Workshop
Saturday August 8th, 2015

Cost is $35 a person

Join local lavender grower Rosanne Middleton as she discusses the benefits of lavender for your health and your home. Participants will also be taught how to make lavender wands (the best way to preserve lavender) and lavender wreathes using her own locally grown, organic lavender. The cost of the workshop includes lavender for the crafts and light refreshments. Lavender products will also be available for purchase.

Heritage Days

Cost is $6 for adults and children 12 & under are free

Join us for the 44th Annual Heritage Days at the Uxbridge Historical Centre with many NEW exhibits and features!  Travel back in time for old-fashioned fun, great food and entertainment. Enjoy the beautiful view of the Uxbridge Valley and the Oakridges Moraine.


Bernardin Canning Workshop
Thursday September 3, 2015

Uxbridge Seniors Centre. 75 Marietta Street.

Cost is $10 per person

Participants will be shown a demonstration of up to 3 recipes using ingredients that are in season and will also learn about safe at home canning techniques. Guests will get the chance to taste what is being made and will be able to take home recipes and brochures.

Fright at the Museum: Haunted Village and Scavenger Hunt

Join us for this great annual family-friendly attraction. Find items around the spooky Museum buildings and grounds to unravel this year’s Halloween mystery! Some scary content. Similar to a haunted house or walk, but interactive! Bring a flashlight!
