WRITING CHILDREN’S LITERATURE, Durham College, Uxbridge
This course will help you explore the child’s point of view and fine tune your writing voice to make your stories sparkle. Examine various forms of children’s literature including picture books, short stories, chapter books, novels, poetry and non-fiction. Practice writing techniques through in-class exercises and short, take-home assignments. Find out what editors and children’s book publishers are looking for and how to submit your work. Taught by award winning children’s author, Wendy A Lewis. Tuition includes a $3 non tax-deductible fee.
